    my mojo that is!
In the past I have always looked forward to January. When most people hated the fact that the holidays were over, I relished in the fact that I would have some down time (cold, winter weather) which caused me to stay in and scrap. But this January things were different.  I didn't have that same energy and excitement to scrap.
It seemed a lot of family issues were holding me down...

I've been training for our upcoming half marathon, tho at this point in my running its more a matter of staying fit.  For me 3 miles used to feel like an accomplishment, now it's a minimum of 5 or more. And to think when I first started running, one mile was a major accomplishment.  So see, you have to start somewhere.
My running began in November 2009 and in 2010 I ran 2 half marathons. This year...

Its funny how I spent the first part of this morning editing pictures and putting together a post about friendship and what it means to me, to find out that a dear friend passed away. . .
My friend Joyce was one of those one in a million people.  Those people you aspire to be like, even if in the tiniest of ways.  Their attitude you want to emulate in your life everyday because it is one of always...

Ahhh here I am again, documenting my word and how I am striving at making it a part of my year. It seems that not everything goes according to plan and even the littlest things can become a challenge.
Usually on the days I plan to run I have a number in my head before I leave the house,  a minimum I want to achieve.  If I'm feeling really good the number may be higher.  If I'm itching to try out...

There are so many ideas for Project life and I'm trying to tackle several of them.
Last year I did the Becky Higgins project life kit and while I will admit there are some months with no words written on the journaling cards, I kept going through the entire year.  Last night at the crop I was sure to add the days of the week stickers to all the journaling cards.
This year I'm trying to learn better...

I had a few people ask questions on my kitchen island and chairs that I painted so I thought I'd do a post about it. At first my husband was a little hesitant on my painting oak, which basically was only the front of the cabinet but once he saw it finished he loved too! Yes, I still have one tree up - kind of a winter snow tree may turn into a valentine tree...

I used Olde Century paints lamp...

    CHALLENGE...
On Saturday Chelsea and I had a training scheduled with Milt, we decided to get a run in before the training as I am trying to run 4 times in the week and I had only run twice, not even hitting my goal. At 8 am I began running and just before 9am (our training time) I ran 5 miles.  We then started our training with Milt, which is always awesome because not only does he teach us new things,...

Still gathering my pictures to put together my December daily, hope to finish that up soon, along with some projects with my Work in Progress January kit!
Usually January is my favorite time of the year, after Christmas that is where life seems to calm down and the obligations are less.  But right now I'm still searching for the calm?

Completed a project that I've been wanting to...
