We had recently been in Columbus to run the 10 mile race and just love visiting that area.  This race was a little...

I was reading over at Slacker mom's blog a list she created about what makes her happy and thought I would create one myself. Sometimes we need to step back and remember the little things that bring us joy and happiness in our lives, and with the recent struggles I've been facing while dealing with an ill parent I decided I should draw my attention to some happiness in my life!
    10 things that make...

My sister and I signed up for a class at Archivers called Daily Junque as we counted down the days until the class we found out that not enough people had signed up.
    Our options were:

Another race, another challenge and oh so much more!
My challenge started with preparing for the race. I was starting to feel winded and tired and couldn't run a few miles, let alone pick up my pace. Finally my husband urged me to go get things checked out with the doctor. They ordered a Stress echo and a complete pulmonary test. I asked if I could get them done before the weekend of the...

    Another running adventure!
This weekend Chelsea and I went to Columbus to run another race. This race was different to all the others we ran since it was a 10 mile race compared to the usual 5k or half marathon. The Columbus 10 miler, known as the Cbus 10 miler was awesome and challenging!

I love Columbus so any chance I get to go there I jump at it or run to it! The Easton mall is amazing,...

She found out it was restaurant week in Michigan and then looked into a dinner at...

    One little word - Challenge
One little word captured - week 14

and I'm not talking about the hills...
So here I am after over a year of running. Pushing myself further than I ever thought possible and recently on two different runs I wasn't feeling it. I pushed through, but I wasn't feeling it from beginning to end.  And I've signed up for a full marathon this year?  How am I going to do...

We visit Michigan so often we know the route by heart...
and we never fail to have a great time.  Whether its an overnight trip or just the day with this group of gals we always have the best time together and this trip was no different.
This past winter it seems old man winter didn't want us to get together for every trip we planned another snow storm headed our way, in fact, even this last trip...

    One little word - Challenge
Joining in on the fun and inspiration of the One little word blog hop was a CHALLENGE in itself for me this month.  It seems I just get to the previous months projects and a new month has begun. But alas I will not lose faith and I will continue on this journey as much as it CHALLENGES me throughout the year.
I loved the homework for March, making us get back to business...
