Week 1: Lessons in Change

Life is constantly changing, even when we don’t see it, our bodies are changing, our environment, even what we think of the world we are living in is changing. Some moments can create monumental change, while others accumulate in fragments. Even when we change nothing, things are still changing. It is with this mindset where we choose to let go or strengthen our bodies, our goals, our lives, because either way, things will change. 

Throughout 2025 I documented the sunrise and sunset times. Noticing as our days grew longer and then shorter and darker. There are countless opportunities to witness moments and see the small changes along the way. Paying attention allowed me to adjust how I observed not only the seasons end but also new beginnings. 

With the start of a New Year, we get to choose how our life will be different. Can we find joy in the everyday little things, or will we complain? Will we exercise or sleep in?  Change is the only thing constant, what change do you want to see?
