"Weeping may endure for the night, but JOY cometh in the morning" ~Psalm 30:5
I enjoy the days that start off slow, the ones I ease into with coffee in hand while immersed mindfully within my surroundings. These moments provide a cleansing space to unpack my worries and untangle the creaks in my soul.
Tenderness arrives as I examine my heart and the unclaimed baggage I linger to sort. A shifting guidance arranging piles of debris in order to distract my thoughts, revealing the course in a slow dance with nature laundering the haze of intentions to uncover the dreams I crave.
Acknowledging the past while returning to the present reconciles joy, allowing it to wash over the aches that have rusted my memory while providing a sense of peace in knowing I am no longer held by the betrayals of my heart.
Once I release them and focus on the brightness before me I begin to uncover the joy held within. Joy in anticipation for all that is to come and joy for the sweetness in memories past.
