Did you grow up watching this movie?  I know we did, every year as kids we would sit glued to the television over my aunts watching! So I was captured by this list celebrating The wizards 71st year!
Here are 71 facts for the films 71st birthday!

    1) So frightening was Margaret Hamilton's performance as the Wicked Witch of the West that most of her scenes were heavily edited or cut entirely.

The other day we went to dinner for Ben's birthday at Mongolian BBQ.  It was the first time for all of us except for Chels and Ben... Ben loves it, that's why he chose it for his birthday dinner.

We had a really great time and Ben loved all his creative gifts!  After my sister made Zach the money tree I embellished the idea and added quotes and candy to the tree for Ben's birthday.

Do you ever just let your mind wander from one thing to the next?  Like how your thoughts can travel back in time from a single song or smell. That's been happening to me a lot lately?  Sometimes I think it's the "poor me attitude" that I can sometimes fall into and other times I'm like Oh yeah, I remember when... which if you ask anybody, I don't remember a lot of my younger days?
    So whichever...

Why is it that I start out the summer with the best of blogging intentions, but somehow time gets away from me and we are outdoors or away more than those cold winter days ahead.  But whatever the reason I've been a bad blogger and I can't even say its going to change until at least school is back in session, which is coming sooner than I want!
Plus with my camera broken I don't get the pictures...

Ahhh another month of fun playing with the work in progress kit.  The only bad thing... I can't get good pics because I don't have my camera!  I liked having my Nikon point and shoot for a back up, but not my only camera... yes, I am still bitterly awaiting the return of my camera, and they said it could be up to 10-12 weeks!
So back to the Work in Progress August kit!  This one arrived in perfect...

and other things have lost some zest since the loss of my camera.  I haven't even heard the "professional" diagnosis, let alone how long its gonna take... I'm missing it dearly, but the cost to replace it isn't even a thought right now!  So I will try and keep up with life and project life with my Nikon point and shoot that I got in 06 before our NYC trip.
We came home to find this sweet arrangement...

You have a choice. You can throw in the towel, or you can use it to wipe the sweat off of your face.

and so yesterday was the big day... not a lot of fanfare, in fact when I finished running I was the only one in the gym.  But you couldn't of wiped that smile off my face.  I did it, I ran 500 miles in 7 months and it feels great!  I gave myself a year and did it in just over...

This weekend I went to Michigan for my girlfriends daughter's wedding.  She wanted me to take pictures and luckily I was able to borrow Trish's camera since mine broke the week before the wedding!
It was a beautiful wedding at the beach and my girlfriend Debbie left no detail undone!  So many little things she thought of. Like the centerpiece at the kids table was buckets and shovels for the kids.

     And...
