I did it! I ran 20 miles! The thought of it had worried me for quite sometime when I seen those numbers on Hals schedule, but somehow with all the training all the weeks before, that twenty wasn't as tough as the number made me think it was going to be.
Since starting back to school, I knew I'd have to change my long run Sundays to another day and so this past Monday was my scheduled 20 mile run....

My cousin's wedding shower was this past weekend and we decided to put together a mini album with the help of all the guests.
I picked up some chalk board signs on etsy and we had each guest write some advice or wisdom for them.  I then printed all the pictures and filled a flip photo album that was completed for Stephanie to take home at the end of the party.
Everyone had a blast coming up with...

    Finding my way back...

Everybody needs a little time away, whether from exercise or just your summer vacation, but sometimes coming back after that can be disheartening!

I had a busy summer that included back to back trips out of town.  I did my best on the days home to get as much running in as possible as well as during our vacation, but somehow it wasn't the same as the training...

Last Friday we went to the Indians game and what a blast it was. We had club seating which includes all you can eat and drink (non alcoholic), and just a great place to hang out and watch the game!  The energy was exciting with the return of Jim Thome and the game was sold out!
Everyone was given signs to hold up when Thome was up to bat and although my picture is blurry it was a site to be seen!

I cannot believe it is senior year for Chelsea, in fact for both of the kids!  Zach is a senior in high school and she a senior in college!  Both of their years are going to fly by!
This year Chelsea is in these gorgeous townhouses, which were just completed with her girlfriends! Recently we went to visit with both the grandmas and I think they both want to go back to college now too!

Upon arriving in San Francisco, my cousin had warned us to be ready because we were going to hit the ground running, and we did just that!
Our first stop was for lunch and thank goodness since we were starving. As before most flights, I don't have much of an appetite, but once we land.... I'm starved, as was everyone else!  Lunch was at the Cliff House, an amazing restaurant with an awesome view...

Soon after arriving at my cousins house, her husband reminded me of the last time I went to San Francisco.  I was about 21 years old, and my brother was moving down to Los Angeles. My parents had made a deal with him that if he saved half the money for a music school he wanted to attend, they would pay the other half.  He surprised them and did it and at 19 years old was ready to head out on his...

In between our vacations we also celebrated Ben's 21st birthday at Mongolian BBQ.  We had a blast with both Ben's family and ours and Ben is such a sport with whatever we do.
My sister got him the pinata and he destroyed it outside of the restaurant

Jane had spent her summer in Florida, and made it back just in time for Ben's birthday gathering! I just wished I'd of gotten Ben's gram...

    Stranger #9

We met in California, a chance meeting, since I hadn't planned on looking for "strangers" during our travels. But here was someone who amazed us as we stood outside my aunts house while he ran up the massive hill that was her street.
We had seen him earlier when we were driving home, amongst the many other active people throughout the San Francisco area.  Running  up and down...

    18 Miles

Yesterday I ran my furthest distance to date with Chelsea.  We ran in the metro parks and ended up going from Strongsville to Brookpark.  We could hear the planes taking off and realized we were right behind the airport when checking out our route on the garmin.
The first nine were the toughest, once we turned around and started heading back, it seems the run started getting easier....
