My weekend was full of projects and I'm proud to say I completed some layouts of my favorite pictures.
Zach's going into 8th grade and yet I just scrapped this picture of his 6th grade class.  I love how all the kids were clowning around!

This is one left over from Easter of 2006 that I hadn't scrapped but just loved the picture with all the kids being silly again.
Seems like I had a silly...

Last night while reading Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult I found this quote that rang true to me.
"Losing someone you love is like reading a wonderful book only to realize that all the pages past a certain point were blank."

If you were ever thinking of getting rental property DON"T DO IT!  This has become one of the biggest headaches of our lives.  I truly cannot believe how people live and what morals they have.
We have had houses overrun with cats.  Now I love cats, but this just gives them a bad name - when people just let them multiply until they literally take over an area.  They don't care about these animals,...

We had a horrible storm during the afternoon.  One that had the sirens going off with tornado warnings.  Which we found out later that one touched down a city away from us in Lodi.  Once all the storms passed it was time to get ready for my party.
It was a Silpada jewelry party.  What a fun evening we had trying on jewelry and visiting with friends.  It is probably one of the most generous...

From my Work in progress March kit I've been working every night in little pieces on things I feel lucky about.  And like the kit, it is still a work in progress.
Some of my ideas that are in the book but not finished include:
my winning the Q104 mega home makeover contest in 2004.   Of course my husband   daughter and son   Of course my dear son Ryan who we lost when he was 5 years...

What a good time we had at the Medina County Fair watching the demolition derby.  Mike, our driver entered a car in the name of the company.  He ended up winning 1st place for his heat.  ( I think that's what its called?)
I'm not a big fan of the fair, so this is my only time up there, and while I wish I would have had a little more time walking around, I did enjoy the little time I spent there.

How fun it was to receive a phone call from the local radio station because I submitted songs from my ipod and they wanted to play them!
We ended up having quite a long conversation of which we talked about my work - which is a plug for my husbands company Northern Ohio Equipment Services - then we talked about my kids and he asked their names so both Chelsea and Zach were heard on the radio and...

Chelsea went with Ben and his family to the Observatory and Zach and Joel went up to the fair for a couple hours, so here I am home alone, able to do whatever it is I want.
So most of the evening I found myself playing with my Lucky Me album I began building with one of the Work in Progress kits.  Now mind you it was the March kit so I'm a little behind.  But I am just loving all the creative things...

When we first arrived we were told by the staff at Mohican Adventures that they were watching the weather and the Sheriff had reported two storms were heading our way with 50 mile an hour winds.  They advised us not to put our awning up and get set up as quickly as possible.
We did just that, which I think made set up take even longer because we were each racing around looking for things that were...
