Last week I got the chance to go to Audrey's Attic which is an adorable country store in Orville Ohio.  I had a feeling it would be all decked out for Christmas and wasn't disappointed when I arrived.  Although my time was limited because of previous plans I managed to make my way through and pick up a couple things.  I'm planning to get back there within the next week or so again to really look...

Those red cups that is!  One of my favorite signs of the Holidays approaching.  I know it may sound silly to some, but I look forward to that "change of season".  Then before you know it, they are gone again. 
So today since Zach dragged me out to the store so that he could pick up Guitar Hero at Blockbuster we decided to stop at Target and Starbucks too, where I enjoyed my first Peppermint...

It's funny I remember saying that for many years when you saw Christmas merchandise out in the stores right after Halloween.  But then I worked at Treasured Friends and realized they only have a limited amount of time to sell, therefore we began decorating and setting up for Christmas by November 1st.
Since the store has been closed a couple years now I had forgotten that routine until shopping...

Just yesterday I was inspired by a 6 X 9 mini book I had on a shelf in my scraproom and some recent Christmas purchases that I decided to assemble this book. I'm so excited to have my mini book ready for Christmas already.  It's going to be a combination of the many classes I've taken over the years or that I've seen being completed during the month of December.

For the journaling for "I know this much is true" I wrote little details about each person in the photo.  Like my grandma Young who could never say the word...

I was working on some projects with my November kit and though some are still in the works.  (Hence the name Work in Progress... ) I finished up a few for this months gallery.
It all started a couple weeks ago when driving with Zach this song came on the radio that I had heard and even purchased on itunes.  Actually the first time I heard it I believe was a GM commercial and then I searched for...

was amazing!  Although our first night there when we were out checking out the town we got caught in a heavy downpour and there was no way back to our hotel without getting soaked.  We cracked up!
Before the rain got heavy we had gone to Millennium Park and found the theater where we would be heading the next day to see the Jersey Boys.
The park was so beautiful we knew we had to go back again...

until we leave for Chicago!  I can't believe it is almost here!  We talked about it for what seemed like forever and then when I ordered the tickets for The Jersey Boys it made it official and now tomorrow we leave!  Everyone I talk to LOVES Chicago, so I can't wait to be joining that group!  Plus the weekend away with family is perfect!

We had a beautiful weekend here and I thought I would get out to the park for some fall pictures.  However, the park I went to seemed to have already lost a lot of the fall color I was looking for?  I'd like to check out some other parks in the area and I'm hoping they will wait until I have a chance to get out again.
