 On December 7th it is Ryan's birthday.  He would be turning 20... that's just so hard to imagine when I only knew this little boy.
Every year on his birthday I put a poem in our local paper.  This is the poem I wrote several years ago that I used this year.

What I look forward to every morning

Been seeing a lot of people do this on their blogs and I thought it was a good idea.  Last night I found this blog with more ideas.  I think I'm also going to get out my Simple abundance book and begin again. My aunt recommended this book to us back in 1998 when she was in town after my father died.  I refer back to it quite often, and think now is another one of those times.
Things to be grateful...

Tonight consisted mostly of cooking and cleaning, and I guess I have to do that sometimes? 
I'm so bummed because my moo cards still have not shown up and if I don't mail out my cards in time a lot of people won't even know the Candlelight Memorial is this weekend.  Tomorrow has to be the day they arrive?
