We had a great time camping this past weekend.  
Spending time with family is what great memories are made from!
We camped nearby home, which worked out perfectly for Cameron to come after work, Deb and Gordon were able to hang out and enjoy dinner with us and Chelsea and I were able to leave, do some shopping and get back to the campsite in a short amount of time.
The kids did some swimming, though...

Okay just a few days ago I opened up that project kit and was determined to get some Christmas gifts made. 
So far I made the one mini... until today (well actually the other day) when I made two more mini's.  And really, these weren't so tough because I copied one that I had previously made and just cut everything twice.  I still need to embellish and such... but here's to two more projects!

And...here we go!
1. I feel positive.
2. Camping is always fun.
3. Right now, I can hear these things: the dog eating and the Today show.
4. My girlfriends birthday is Sunday and I'm glad I can celebrate it with her today!
5. The last time I smoked a cigarette was 6 years 8 months ago.
6. Great weather is predicted for this Labor day weekend.

With Chelsea gone in school and Joel at work, today was  day for Zach and I.  Well after school that is...
He still needed some more back to school items, so I promised him a day out and dinner together, which we did.  Although when shopping with Chelsea we take pictures along the way - that doesn't happen when shopping with a boy.  I was lucky to get one picture when we returned home of him carrying...

I love blogs and reading them and learning new things as I feel that is how we grow through life; through experience and common experiences with other's. 
It was just Tuesday that I had a day of appreciation and thoughts of darn it, why don't I have my camera right now. 
When I was on my way to goodwill there was a pond with a bunch of Canadian Geese around it and one white Goose... perfect...

The transfer transition could not have gone smoother. 
She joined the Mount Union color guard and met a bunch of great friends, her classes all transferred and now she just was given a bid...

With my kids out of grade school when I saw this apple I thought more about "an apple a day".  So I talked to my cousin Stephen, Chelsea and other trainers and filled the apple with useful, healthy tips.
