Being Me: Week 10 - Enjoy the simple things

March theme - All you need is tea and warm socks

I love the coziness of March. The still cold nights where the fireplace is a treat to warm me and the warmer days where hints of spring are in the air.

It has taken me many years to get here, to appreciate this season of new beginnings. To understand it's reminder of how things change, how everything changes, even me, and when I slow down I can finally see the beauty in it and the reason for it. 

March is a period of growth. An opportunity to implement new ideas, with a fresh perspective. To embrace the circle of life, the new beginnings, perfect middles and graceful ends. Displaying how everything has a season and the gifts in each moment that we have.

This March I plan to hold my cup with both hands, slowing down to witness the buds bloom, the greens approach and the days growing longer. Doing less, yet making choices with purpose. Adding artist dates to my weekly agenda. Creating the space to slowly explore the world around me with fresh eyes, revealing the beauty in each day.

Being me is my opportunity to be true to who I am. Discover my voice, my purpose, and pursue joy.  And sometimes in order to get ahead we need to slow down and enjoy what is right in front of us.

  • December - Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of hope

Mission Statement:  I will improve my overall health and wellness, use kindness and inspiration with a vision that creates  a community of giving and in doing so achieve my purpose in this life.
