When we first arrived we were told by the staff at Mohican Adventures that they were watching the weather and the Sheriff had reported two storms were heading our way with 50 mile an hour winds.  They advised us not to put our awning up and get set up as quickly as possible.
We did just that, which I think made set up take even longer because we were each racing around looking for things that were...

Can be good for you in many ways!
Recently I got a bug to get some rooms in my house uncluttered.  Starting with my bedroom I went through drawers, cabinets, closets you name it I went through it.  Not only did it feel good when I was done, in fact it felt awesome to have several bags ready for goodwill, garbage and to give to friends.  It makes that room so much easier to keep up with.

    Amazing, simply amazing!

I learned so much during these 4 classes in two days, between all the example pictures, lectures and just getting down to business this was the most inspirational, productive scrapbook weekend I have ever spent.
However, the weekend didn't start out without any glitches... of all the things to forget, when we began our first class and it was time to get out pictures...

Well, so I was told... everyone had to rearrange their schedule in order for me to plan and get ready for these classes over the next couple days.

If you haven't been there yet, check it out and share some of the good reads you've had.

I can't stop thinking about my cousin Michael.  Even though he lived in California, Colorado and even Virginia he always made it a point to be a part of our lives.  He knew each of us, our children and what was going on in our lives.  He shared his excitement of his growing family and we shared in his pride during Jason's wedding in Baltimore, and the birth of his first grandson.  I'm...

I have always been fascinated with dates and numbers.  I love the fact that Chel was born 3-6-90 and it was all natural, nothing planned there, even Ryan was 12-7-87.  I just  love how the numbers flow.  In fact on those days of the year I almost always write the year because once I start writing that date it just seems natural to continue on with the year.
Even the silly fact of how every year...

It had threatened to rain most of the day and in fact did rain a good portion of the morning, and while we desperately do need the rain, I didn't want our 4th to be rained out.  There's too many outdoor activities for the kids to do.  Like swimming in the pool, eating ice cream, cooking out, fishing and going to the parade.
Luckily the rain did hold out and we had a nice day filled with lots...
