Kits and crafts

July 22, 2008

Today was a day for both my Work in Progress kit and crafts.  I got to work with my kit for a bit and I wanted to do some sewing. However I had a pile of shirts that Joel needed sewn and I knew if he saw me sewing on cardstock and not his shirts that it may not be a pretty scene... so I did the mending first, then I got to sew on my layout.

I also finished up some crafts for a friend who calls me every year at the end of baseball season and during the holiday season for crafts to make for gifts.  This was kind of last minute, but I don't think I'd have gotten to them before the graduation party anyway and she needs them by Saturday.  I'm still going to make some Hershey nuggets to go inside the boxes and if time and creativity exists I might try and write a baseball coach candy bar poem???

In between I went to work for a bit and drove Zach around to Bowling and his friends house and made doctor appointments for Chelsea.  Joel took her to pick up her frig and microwave... the list goes on!

Here's a funny video... During Chelsea's graduation party some of the adults were racing on the obstacle course.  My brother in law Gordon and cousin's husband Don were having a race and Terry got them on video here too funny!
