Going to Metro today

I have to go pick up circle subs for Joel and Ron to take to some of their customers today, and one for the guys in the shop.  Meet up with Chel and my sister and pick up my mom.  Then we will head down to the hospital.

While I'm picking up the circle subs I'm going to pick up a couple fruit baskets also.  We usually go into the 5th floor ICU and see the staff there who took care of my brother, Joe. He didn't make it through surgery, but that staff was nothing but phenomenal in taking care of him and us the three weeks we lived in that hospital!

Today is the Chrismtas party they hold for the children at the hospital.  But the toys in the toy drive are used all year long, not just at Christmas, so that's always good to know.  I'll be sure to take lots of pictures.

It will be a bittersweet day for sure!
