Fall Foliage Tour

October 14, 2007

Every year in the fall Medina County does the Fall Foliage Tour. We used to go every year and then it was either a busy weekend or bad weather that kept us from going. Today couldn't have been better weather for a day touring Medina and the stops on the tour.

We began at Buckeye Woods (a favorite place of the kids and me to walk the dog or go on a bike ride) Chelsea tried out the stilts and we got ourselves some kettle corn.

After going through the park we headed to our next stop which was Elm Farm where we got an ice cream and walked around.

Our next stop was Richardson Farm - since we hadn't made it to the pumpkin patch this year, this was perfect!

We got some awesome apples here which we had to try while driving to our next stop which was the York Township Historical Society Schoolhouse.  There was a lot of neat history we found out during our tour through the school house.  Both Joel and I loved hearing the stories from some of the people who grew up in this area.
