Back to normal

At least for a little while...

Chelsea came home from camp and had a blast!  She loved it!  Got to make some new friends and learn the routine for guard.  This weekend was for the new kids and then regular band camp with start in the middle of August.

After she arrived home and Joel finished up some of the yard work we headed out to the park for the family reunion.  We got there kind of late so some of the people had left by then.  One of the people we spent some time with had an entire book of family history with all the genealogy she has tracked.  It was very interesting and she gave me a free site to check out to get started.

The park we were at was beautiful and some of the kids and myself took a walk through it.  We then found lots of areas LOADED with poison ivy!  Something Zach and I didn't want to get near!

18 20While we were driving home we found  a development with huge houses which got us to talking about whether we would one day move, add on to the house or make any other changes in our housing?

19 Poison IvyThe thing is with Chelsea leaving for college we really don't need a bigger house.  But there are things I sacrificed when getting this house that I still wish I had.  Like a main floor laundry room, a large master bathroom and a sun porch.

Well enough about my dreaming since that's not going to happen for a while.

However my point of this conversation, Zach brought up that he'd like to move his bedroom downstairs to the den and move the den upstairs to his bedroom.  I told Joel I have no problem with it, but if we are doing it then both rooms need some painting done!  So looks like we are getting into another remodel.  Zach would like to be in his new room before school starts so we are looking at this change taking place within 30 days...

Started my class today with Karen Russell... so excited to do the lessons and start learning more about photography!
