"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."
    ~ Abraham Lincoln
    Happy 16th Birthday Zachary!
And to think it wasn't that many years ago when Abraham Lincoln was his idol!  He even dressed up as him one year for Halloween and our family vacation was to Washington DC because of his fascination with the President!

Team Up Thursday with Jill  This week our theme was down low... I kept trying to figure out how I wanted to shoot this photo. Whether I was going to be down low or what I was shooting would be down low???  While working on the graduation caps for Shawn's party I decided this was where I would take my shot.  I love how Jill captured her daughter reading... wish I would have gotten those shots years...

From Medina to Chicago is 305 milesFrom Medina to Winston-Salem NC is 360 milesI found this out at Google maps distance calculator.  And why you may ask am I measuring the distance to places around the US?
Because I set a goal this year to run 500 miles.  When I set the goal I thought it was a reasonable goal to attain, and yet here I am almost half-way through 2010 and I have already ran 380 miles, which...

We all know someone with this disorder.  Sometimes there are those we can learn to avoid, others we are related to and that makes for it to be more difficult.  Luckily for me, the narcissist in my life chose to end our relationship, and while it hurt, it probably was the best thing.
It wasn't until I described my situation to a friend that she told me to look up narcissist and from that point...

Shawn's graduation party is coming up and we are coming down to the last details to get done.
Deb and I plan on working on the favors today - at least planning the favors, since she's doing popcorn she can't make them until closer to the party.  I got the cutest moo cards to attach to them...

And then I went to Staples and ordered a Border Print or two...

This weekend was a rainy one, but not enough to spoil our plans! We took of Friday afternoon, Cameron, Zach and I, and headed to Columbus to see Shawn run at Ohio State . On our way there I think we hit every possible rain storm which slowed us down quite a bit. Luckily we made it to Ohio State in enough time to see Shawn run in one of his events.
After the running events we headed out to find our...

Here we go again for another week of team up Thursday.  And here Jill and I go again, unknowingly coming up with similar pictures when we choose a theme!
I was thinking with the holiday just passing I had so many opportunities of the color red, but what is something that is a constant in our family.... fruit.  You name it there is always some type of fruit in this house over the summer!

    Just...

We always have such a great time camping and this weekend was no exception!  The weather was absolutely beautiful and the scenery just perfect!
We camped close by home and sometimes for the first time out that works out best.  We had to make a couple trips to the house for things and until I get my Camping organizer from Brandy some things might be forgotten :)
The kids made played frisbee, went...
