The two will always go together and prove to be a fun source of entertainment as it did last night when Brenda, Stacey, Kim, my mom and I went to Main Street Cafe
Every Wednesday they have wine tasting.  You get 4 small wine glasses (that are absolutely adorable)then you pick from 6 pages of wines.  We decided to each pick 4 different wines and then take a sip and pass them around the table,...

You know I never really was a big Martha Stewart fan. I don't dislike her, I just never really watched her much. Now my sister - I think she's her clone, especially around the holidays! But after reading several posts about the glittered pumpkins I just had to try them.
During the day I picked up all the supplies I needed (although I ended up going to 3 craft stores before finding the glitter!),...

Cleveland advances to ALCS following 6-4 victory

It was an awesome and intense game to watch.  In fact I had almost fallen asleep but when the Yankees hit that home run I was jolted awake!  I knew we still had another game on Wednesday if they did lose, but I just didn't want to go there, as I'm sure many of the fans would agree.
It was fun watching the guys celebrate together!

I think this Frankenstein made by my girlfriend Barb is one of my favorite Halloween decorations.  Every year I can't wait to add him to our front garden bed - it has become his home each fall since Barb made him many years ago.  She has since moved to Florida and I hope one day she will rekindle her woodworking projects because they were always the best!

my yard is at least starting to look like fall...
And while I didn't get any good pictures of it yet, I will.

When I arrived home Joel had picked up the cornstalks for me to decorate the yard. So together...

Last year I didn't capture the fall colors as much as I would have liked to, so this year I have been telling the kids every week we need to get to the park for some pictures. Well we decided to go this past Friday. Unfortunately for October it was unseasonably hot and humid and by the time we got ourselves back into the words where there might be some color we were all hot, sweaty and bit up by bugs!
    Here's...

I'm learning to put things into perspective... well, at least I'm trying to learn. Yesterday I had a really rough day. With all the problems we are having with an ex tenant in our rental property, plus all the work that still needs to be done on them and all the money that we've used to complete this work and make the mortgage. Its been tough to say the least and a lot of times I stress over it, I...

The kids and I spent a day with my mom going to Wallace lake and around Berea to all the different stores like THE SHOPPE. Then we went by one of my last places of employment - BBC - also known as The Bread and Butter Company. I worked there until I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with Ryan. Now we go back by there and its a retirement home? I so wanted to peek inside, but didn't.
    I made this layout from...
