slowly around here, between my recovery from this blasted cold and the work that's getting done in the family room, everything is moving at a slow pace!
I have been living on Motrin and Cold-eez for the last 5 days with today being the first day I didn't take anything.  The family room project is actually at a standstill until next Tuesday.
Which I guess looking on the bright side probably...

There's a new blog that features scrapbookers and I'm thrilled that today I'm featured on it.  Check out the Explore, experience and expand your mind blog!
Plus the other day both Sarah and Linda had me listed on their top 10 favorite blogs!
I still need to create my list of 10? Which is a tough thing to do!

At Christmas Joel and Zach found a cocoon on our Christmas tree.  They decided to put it in one of Zach's creature keepers.  Well apparently last night it hatched and we have 100's of Praying Mantis

Last night I went to my nephews birthday party and all the girls and a couple of the boys were singing songs on the Wii from High School Musical.  My niece who is 14 and all the younger girls were having a blast and knew all the words. I however knew none?

My sister in law was shocked to hear that I've never seen High School Musical 1 or 2.  I guess its the difference in having boys and girls...

School was called off yesterday!  I actually couldn't believe it because the roads weren't really that bad and there wasn't that much snow.  But Joel had said the roads were worse earlier in the morning.  Either way I never mind having the kids home.  Chelsea ended up getting some extra hours at work and Zach and I went to lunch and then met up with Tom to get the supplies to work on my room.

Here is the mini book I wrote about in an earlier post that I used some of the supplies I picked up from Hollo's.  I used the 4 X 8 pieces of chipboard.
I love how you can tell a story in a mini book.  They come together quickly, you can play with all types of supplies.  You can easily make them for a gift or for yourself.
This mini is from the Work in Progress project kit for February
