Have been my emotions this past few days.  Today or should I say tonight was an up day.  We finally got connected with Chelsea on the iChat, and once we hung up Joel said it was worth every penny and I couldn't remove the smile from my face.

First it was just Chel in her dorm and then she called Ben to come down.  Then we hooked up with Rich and Rose.

Recently when cleaning out the closet in the Den we came across some old VHS movies.  They were buried in the back and we hadn't watched them in forever!  While our video player is on its last leg, I thought it best to have these videos made into DVD's.
Just over a week later they called me and I picked them up.  At the time when I took them in I hadn't even asked the cost or thought to drop off...

Zach doesn't seem to remember when his cousin had his skateboarding injury and ended up with 8 pins and a plate in his leg along with not being able to participate in the track season.
Or how long he was in a cast and had to be pushed around in a wheel chair
Because if he had remembered he wouldn't of thought skateboarding down a giant hill would have been a good idea.

It's been a day of tears and laughter, sadness and pride!
So many emotions you go through when dropping your child off at college.  The house was quiet, Zach over his friends and Joel still at the office. Leaving me alone with my thoughts.  Our whole routine around here will be different.  My gosh, just typing this my eyes well up!

I have a feeling I'm going to be learning a lot more about iChat since Chelsea was telling me if I had a iMac we could iChat when she's gone at college and it got me to thinking?  Really... a way for us to chat and see each other whenever we wanted, well at least for the most part anyway?

Over the weekend I had a chance to get some scrapping done Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  On Friday I worked on quite a few cards and when Saturday came I needed a jump start to get going.

We had such a great weekend, except of course for Chelsea having to get her wisdom teeth out.  But at least its over with and although her mouth seems to be hurting more today than it was before... finally her stomach is feeling better!

And I made the cover!  I haven't said anything about it since Pam Baird contacted me back in June via my blog.  But they wanted my Christmas ATC.  I was so excited, my first time being published and I hadn't even submitted!!!
Then a few weeks later she emailed me that I made the cover!  Both Joel and Chelsea were there when I read the email and we were all so excited!
