New York City

It's been a while, in fact I haven't been there since 2006 when I went on a trip with girlfriends.  But this time was special.  It was the first time Zach, my sister, her two boys and my mother in law got to see NYC.  And what better time to go than to see it around the holidays!  Okay, except for the fact that it seems everyone has that same idea!

We took a 3 hour bus tour this time which was wonderful.  We got to see a lot of the great sites in NYC in a short amount of time!

The M & M store is always a favorite, tho I hope you don't plan to buy anything because the lines were crazy long!

who knew we'd find Mickey in NY?

eeeek, the subway... lets just say I'm not a fan of it, but I thought the kids have to experience it and lets face it, its a quick way around the city when you want to go a farther distance and not have to walk the entire way in the cold.

My sisters nephew lives in NYC and came out to meet us and show us around the town even more when our tour was done.  He was able to point out where Heath Ledger lived in Soho and other apartments and their cost, along with knowing the subway and so much more.

Seeing the windows at Macy's and throughout the city was so magical, I didn't even realize I captured the two little girls looking at the windows too.

I will never look at Macy's again - I love Macy's NYC!

so it was a little busier than I expected, and my legs were sore from all the walking the next day, the decorations were amazing sites, and if I wasn't ready for Christmas before this trip, I am now!

Oh yeah and I LOVE NEW YORK!
