We started planning when we were in Hilton Head...

We knew we wanted a get together that would include both sides sharing in this exciting time for Chelsea and Anthony.

Watching them ask the girls to be their flower girls was adorable

I went a little crazy with Etsy, Hobby Lobby and other sites, picking out some fun things to make the day special. From the tic tac save the date, to the congrats labels on all the wine bottles, all the little details add up to so much! Maybe its just the party planner in me coming out again? Deb and I always LOVED planning the kids birthdays, coming up with a theme and brainstorming ideas...so yes, it was good to feel that again.

The forecast had threatened rain all week long, and although I remained hopeful that it would change, instead the threat increased. Since weather is not something we have any control over we decided we would make the best of whatever we were dealing with.

I believe Jane was with us celebrating as well as holding off the rain so we were able to enjoy our party in the backyard. It is my favorite place to hang out and I was so thrilled to be able to share it with family and friends!

The weather was perfect and we were able to spend the evening indoors and outdoors

You never know where your life will take you, who you will meet again at another point in your life. Sara and I were friends in Junior high and when I found she opened her salon, Vita Bella right in Brunswick I wanted to patronize her salon. Who knew that meet up would lead to Chelsea and Anothony meeting. 

Life has a way of bringing old friends back into your life and introducing you to new ones as well. So thankful for the great relationships we all share.
