A visit to the zoo

Yesterday the kids and I went to the zoo, the Columbus Zoo that is.  Since last year when my nephew was in football camp at Ohio State University and we stayed in Columbus for 3 days.  We visited a lot of Columbus - checking out where we would be heading in a few weeks for our Karen Russell classes and  a trip to the zoo...

Zach and I found it to be our favorite zoo, even though we'd only been to the Cleveland Zoo to compare... it is so much nicer, cleaner, up close and personal with the animals and the flow leads you from one attraction to the next just perfectly.

So since Chelsea had not been there we decided she needed to check it out too and I can say with confidence it is now Chelsea's favorite zoo too!
