 Early this morning my aunt lost her battle with cancer.  Here we are just a few months ago when she came to celebrate Joel's and my 25th anniversary.
Losing my father, son and now my aunt in the month of February leads me to hate this month!

Got a lot done since being snowed in today!  Really excited about my projects from my Work in Progress kit and getting projects finished up from last weekends crop!  

Yesterday was the first day of my new challenge to stay away from the computer for one day a week.  It's funny how much time this "time saving" thing can suck out of our daily lives, and I thought I need to change that, I need to make one day that I do everything I can WITHOUT using the computer.  And I'm proud to say I did it, and I got a lot done!
I met Joel's aunt and cousins for lunch.......

It's been 17 years
I remember...
I grabbed his coat because they didn't take it in the ambulanceIt was early morning and we were asked into a room with several people including the doctorshaving my brother come along, what could they possibly want to talk to us abouthearing the newsJoel screaming at the doctorsme running out of the room with a social worker following measking her to leave me alone...

The weekend... Ahh where did it go?  It just seems to fly by, especially when you have a lot going on. Like this past weekend where we had a Friday and Saturday crop to attend!
The relay for life crop was perfect.  We got to go Friday and set up and work for a few hours and then once we returned Saturday we were right back to work!  Hanging out with a group of girlfriends is the best, another weekend...

Work in Progress Kits!
It's been 3 years since Trish started the kit club and I've been a fan since the very first one.  I don't know how she does it as she each unveils another gorgeous kit each month, but I love it!  I'm so thrilled to be a part of this design team, and when Laina suggested we all scraplift a layout Trish did in honor of the kit clubs 3rd birthday I thought what a great idea!
Here...

Joel, Zach and I headed up to the square on Sunday for the annual Ice Festival to check out all the carvings.  There are some that are pre-made and there are some that they carve there as you walk around.  We made our way through the square quickly as the wind was fierce and stopped in for a coffee (hot chocolate for Zach) to help us warm up!
